Gerry Myton leads Harwood Hutton’s indirect taxation team.
He is recognised as one of the leading authorities on VAT in the UK, skilled at mitigating VAT liabilities and identifying cash-saving opportunities from all stages of business development, from initial registration to business restructuring and trading internationally.
Gerry began his career with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs before moving into senior positions within UK Top 20 accountancy firms.
He was VAT Partner at Grant Thornton and PKF and was head of VAT Services for Vantis plc. He joined Harwood Hutton from MHA Macintyre Hudson.
Gerry is a specialist in a range of business sectors, notably retail, property and construction, international supply chains, e-commerce and import/export.
Gerry has extensive experience assisting companies in navigating the complexities of VAT with particular emphasis on companies setting up and trading in the UK and from the UK into Europe.

Andrea has over 15 years’ experience in the field of accounting and finance. Andrea has in-depth knowledge of an extensive range of accounting softwares and has experience in supervising and managing small and large finance teams. She has worked in companies ranging from $30 million to $1.2 billion dollar revenue. Andrea has been responsible for the redesign and creation of management reports for global companies employing in excess of 700 people.
Her specialty in preparing, analyzing and managing financial accounts allows Andrea to develop and implement the accounting structure for small and large corporations. Andrea has been directly and indirectly involved in over 40 countries, helping businesses grow internationally at a rapid pace.

Dean is a partner in the Business Advisory and Assurance division of Pitcher Partners with significant public practice and industry experience. He has extensive hands-on experience in a variety of technical and commercial issues affecting clients on a day-to-day basis and advises clients on the structuring and growth of their businesses.
Dean provides accounting and taxation services to a diverse range of clients with a turnover ranging from $1 million to $250 million per annum, he regularly reports to boards and assists with financial reporting and strategic decision making.
He completed the Pitcher Partners Graduate Certificate of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, run in partnership with Swinburne University, gaining priceless knowledge and a more entrepreneurial and innovative mindset to doing business.
The skills Dean gained by completing the course allow him to act as an advisor and work on the same level as his entrepreneurial clients whilst also having the technical expertise.
He understands the way start-up businesses work and knows what it takes to bring an idea to life and make it commercially successful.
Alexander is an attorney focusing on Blockchain & DLT structuring, Business Transactions, and Capital Formation. He earned his JD & MBA from St. Thomas University, a Master’s degree in finance from Harvard University with certificates from both Harvard Law School & Harvard Business School, and his BBA from Florida International University. He is licensed to practice law in both Massachusetts and Florida. Alexander has experience with multiple tech startups, as a founder and/or general counsel in the areas of legal-tech platforms, entertainment firms, and employment staffing firms. He is also the President of Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys, served as a Vice President of the Harvard Graduate Council, and regularly speaks on panels regarding policy, advocacy, and innovation.
Dr. Jason Corbett

Dr. Corbett is the founder and Managing Partner of Silk Legal, a Bangkok based law firm that advises both foreign and domestic clients with a specialization in FinTech and Block Chain / Distributed Ledger Technologies. Jason is admitted as solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. As corporate lawyer by trade, and an entrepreneur at heart, Jason has trained in the law with a variety of in-house positions and private practice including one of Canada’s largest law firms. He has been involved in several business and start-ups at an executive level in a variety of industries ranging from legal, finance, beverage manufacturing, hospitality, environmental, e-commerce and professional consulting.

Benjamin Banks is a leader in technology and fintech based businesses. Born and raised in Brisbane, Benjamin has travelled throughout Asia where he was worked on a number of projects for banks, insurance companies and payment processors.
This experience has allowed Benjamin to develop an extensive network whilst assuming advisory and board roles. A Responsible Manager (AFSL) for PNI Financial Services for the last 5 years has provides Benjamin with strong ethics in delivering business outcomes.
Benjamin is a director of RapidID a Global Anti-money laundering company, a director of Globetec a specialist air and water purification company, key fintech advisory to two ASX listed organisations, Hong Kong based payment and digital banking software company.

Per, born in Denmark and currently residing in Thailand, is the epitome of a connector with a digital rolodex very few can match. Not only is he extraordinary at bringing the right people together, he is also an accomplished business developer with a diverse background from a myriad of sectors. He started his career by obtaining a degree in economics before jumping right into becoming a pioneer in the renewable energy industry with MICON/Vestas before working as head of marketing at Bang & Olufsen. From there he achieved success at several companies in different sectors including IBM and ResponseTek in the US and Europe.
Throughout his career he has worked directly and indirectly with several of the largest brands in the world including Deutsche Bank, Ford, Aston Martin, Mercedes Benz, Volks Wagen, SonyEricsson, Virgin Media and more. He was headhunted to work in Thailand 13 years ago and decided to stay ever since. At the moment he leads his own business development company Farmor Cloud Factory which works with a wide range of western companies like HYPR, Secunia, BlackStoneOne, Falcon.io, Apptivo and iMotions aiming to establish themselves in the Asian region. He is also an Ambassador for SeedStars Cambodia and a mentor at StartupBootcamp and work closely with regulators to boost the ecosystem surrounding the innovative technologies he finds interesting.
He is a member of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce Thailand, who represents over 9,000 foreign companies in Thailand. He is active in the Digital Economy Committee and promoting projects like the Guillotine Regulatory Reform project, helping Thailand to become a hub for innovation and startups. Martin is a seasoned technologist with a business background. He has a 30-year career in finance and technology, beginning as a software engineer and then honing his skills on trading floors on a variety of platforms.
He is also an entrepreneur, having built and grown a software house specializing in financial services. Highlights were achieving growth to 42 staff and £2.6m turnover working for top tier banks and hedge funds in London, Geneva, Oslo and Moscow; R&D projects included a hedge fund platform, an open source FX trading system and a portfolio optimisation application.
His interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies lies in both trading and in applying the technologies to real-world problems.
Dr. Daniel Dimov

Dr. Daniel Dimov is the founder of Dimov Internet Law Consulting (www.dimov.pro), a legal consultancy based in Belgium. Daniel is a fellow of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Internet Society (ISOC). He did traineeships with the European Commission (Brussels), European Digital Rights (Brussels), and the Institute for EU and International law “T.M.C. Asser Institute” (The Hague).
Daniel received a PhD in law from the Center for Law in the Information Society at Leiden University, the Netherlands. He has a Master’s Degree in European law (The Netherlands), a Master’s Degree in Bulgarian Law (Bulgaria), and a certificate in Public International Law from The Hague Academy of International law. Daniel has authored several peer-reviewed publications in the area of alternative dispute resolution. He presented his articles at conferences in Cyprus, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
